Appearing hammer
The BLR features a folding hammer that can be used to provide an added measure of safety when the hammer is at half-cock. The exposed hammer itself can be an excellent indicator of the safety status of the rifle. In half-cock possition, the hammer is not against the firing pin and the springs are slack.
Traditionnal caliber
The BLR is a lever-action rifle available in traditionnal calibers: 308Win, 30-06Spr and 300WM.
Laminated stock
Laminated stocks are extremely strong due to the high density of this material. Laminated wood is also more resistant to abrasion and humidity. The birch wood used for these stocks is stained in the mass, which allows the stock to be refurbished by simply sanding.
