Model 1895 125th Anniversary 405 Win

Beautiful hand-chased engraving on both sides of receiver and magazine. Nickel finish. Grade V/VI walnut; Straight grip; Traditional cut checkering. Marble Arms gold bead sight and Buckhorn rear sight; 

The original lever for the start of a new century. The Winchester 1895 was the rifle that bridged the 19th and 20th centuries. It was a lever made to handle smokeless powder loads with the revolutionary pointed bullets. No wonder Theodore Roosevelt loved this rifle so much and anointed the Winchester 1895 as his "Big Medicine" on his famous African safari.
